About Victor

Not just a tutor — a mathematics educator, department leader, and published textbook author.

Victor Taghizadeh has spent more than twenty-five years teaching mathematics, with experience spanning high school, university, and advanced competition instruction in both Canada and Iran.

He currently teaches Mathematics 10, Pre-Calculus 11 & 12, Calculus 12, Statistics 12, and Geometry 12 as a Senior Mathematics Teacher in the Greater Vancouver area, where he also leads AP Calculus AB/BC instruction.

Previously, Victor was a Mathematics Teacher and Head of the Mathematics Department at Alborz High School in Tehran, Iran (2011–2021), where he taught Calculus and Olympiad Mathematics and led the school's advanced mathematics programs. Alongside his classroom teaching, he has extensive experience as a private mathematics tutor and university lecturer in both Iran and Canada.

Victor is also a published mathematics textbook author. His three textbooks — Calculus, Pre-Calculus 11, and Mathematics 10 — remain in print today, with Calculus now in its 24th edition. See the full publication details →
